Due to unfavorable weather conditions last week, crews were unable to complete necessary overhead tree maintenance along the Springfield Township portion of the Upper Bucks Rail Trail.

To finish removing dead and hazardous trees and limbs along the corridor, the trail will be closed again tomorrow:

• Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Location: Springfield Township section of the Upper Bucks Rail Trail

Important Safety Notice

For the safety of trail users and maintenance workers, please avoid this section of the trail during scheduled work hours. Heavy equipment will be in operation, and falling debris will create dangerous conditions along the path.

The trail will reopen fully once work hours conclude and crews clear the area.
